24 Hour Secure Operations Centre

SelTrak offer their customers the optional services provided by an SOC (Secure Operations Centre). The services range widely, depending on the requirements of the customer.

Alarm monitoring is a primary function of the SOC. This may be to monitor any unauthorised use of a vehicle which may be a possible theft. It may be to monitor the lone worker device carried by your personnel. Our SOC has operational links with the 52 police forces of the UK, and is used to dealing with stressful situations where assets or personnel are at risk.

We are proud to announce that the SOC operates to BS. 5759. This standard is now part of the new "Cat 5" criteria that came in to force on the 27th Sept 2004. These criteria will mean that the police and insurers will soon only recognise devices that conform to these specific standards, which are fitted by VSIB accredited installers and are monitored by SOC’s who have attained BS. 5759. The SelTrak Vehicle Data Unit is one of the first units to gain this approval. Our installation network and SOC also comply with this criteria.
